Maples Program (Ages 3-6)
We begin our day in the Romping Room, where kids enjoy gross motor play to get their bodies moving and ready to learn. From there, we transition to our morning meeting, where we talk about the weather, explore our personalized monthly calendar, read a story, and answer the question of the day. Journaling and sharing time allow every child to express themselves and build a sense of community.
Next, the kiddos dive into theme-related activities or explore the free play room, where they can build, dress up, create, and more. This play-based approach fosters creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills while encouraging children to explore their interests and express their individuality.
After tidying up, we head outside to play and, if the weather permits, we enjoy a picnic lunch outdoors. Outdoor play promotes physical development, teamwork, and a connection with nature.
The afternoon is all about creativity, with free play and imaginative projects in the art room. Children engage in activities that enhance fine motor skills, inspire self-expression, and build confidence. Our day wraps up with playtime in the Romping Room or outdoor fun while we wait for pick-up.
By prioritizing play in our classroom, we support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development, helping them grow into confident and curious learners.
Redwoods (Ages 5-8) & Willows Program (Ages 8-12)
Redwoods / Wild Willows is an engaging homeschool enrichment program for elementary-aged children, designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and connection. Through hands-on learning, outdoor exploration, and engaging lessons in science, social studies, and geography, Wild Willows provides a nurturing space where kids can express themselves, build friendships, and deepen their love for learning. Guided by experienced educators, children are encouraged to explore their unique interests and grow in a supportive, welcoming community.
A typical day in Redwoods / Wild Willows begins with outdoor play or indoor gross motor activities, allowing children to move, connect, and engage with peers. Morning meetings follow, incorporating games and activities that foster social and emotional learning. Afterward, students enjoy a snack while the teacher reads a story tied to the week’s theme, setting the stage for the day’s projects.
Classroom time is a blend of creativity and choice. Children can work on guided art projects, create their own masterpieces, or explore the free play room, which includes themed games, a Lego table, costumes, loose parts, and more. After cleanup and lunch, kids head back outdoors for more playtime in nature.
Afternoons feature additional classroom activities, art, and free play. The day wraps up with a closing meeting for reflection, followed by gross motor play. Every moment in Wild Willows supports joyful learning and meaningful connections.

At our co-op parents are required to participate once a month.
The other days are drop off. If you want to stay more you will always be welcome to do that!
Parents also hold a job for the school. A list of jobs go out before the school year and you choose your top three options based on your strengths and availability. These jobs could be as simple as helping hang artwork OR serving on our Advisory Council that meets once a month to help plan fun events..
